TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Wednesday Music Club offers tuition assistance for private music lessons. Selection is based on financial need as well as evidence of a strong desire to increase musical skills through private study.
Tuition Assistance covers:
- Approximately 50% of the cost of private lessons, and
- the full cost of application fees and accompanist’s fees associated with students’ required performances.
ELIGIBILITY
- Students are nominated by their teachers.
- Students must be enrolled in grades K – 12.
- Students must reside in (or study with a WMC member teacher who resides in) the city of Charlottesville or in one of the following counties: Albemarle, Augusta, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, Orange or Rockingham.
APPLICATIONS
- require information from both the student’s private teacher and the student’s family.
- are submitted late spring with award notifications arriving no later than mid-summer.
- are submitted on-line.
